I have noticed wherever NASA and the FAA has invested a good deal of sources on developing a robotic modest plane that can nearly fly itself with little intervention from the passengers, to make them a lot more like autos, than what they are now which call for specific coaching and licenses to fly, even as a sport pilot.
I believe it would be cool to have a plane in the garage as well, that I could jet off, particularly right here in Texas in which going 50 miles is typical for just about undertaking nearly anything.
How long do you think we are from actually getting little planes to the regular individual, that could side as a car for obtaining close to?
I have toyed around with some of the kit planes, and the Zenith STOL CH-701 and 801 would be wonderful candidates for cheap,
