My computer is running well but then it will freeze or page will say "not responding" & it just stops?

My security program was due to expire so I installed a new one Trend micro security pro, thats all working fine etc..

I also cleared the history and cookies etc, and deleted stuff I didnt need, bit of a "spring clean!"

Now, even though pages load faster they frequently freeze, or when uploading things like pics, they just stay on the "uploading page" forever and the uploading box wont actually finish and say 'done'. After 10 mins I just close and do it over again.

Also pages just say 'not responding' for no reason.

These things are annoying me!!! They wernt happening before I installed trend micro security pro, but I dnt think its the program..

any ideas?
